HUION
A small 6 x 4 inch screenless pen tablet, 0.3 inches thin and 0.61 lb, with a battery-free 8,192-level pen and 6 customizable press keys.
Best for: Beginners and students who want a light tablet to carry every day
The Huion Inspiroy H640P is a small screenless pen tablet with a 6 x 4 inch drawing area. You plug it into a computer or an Android phone and draw on the pad while your lines appear on the screen.
It is 0.3 inches thin and weighs 0.61 lb, so it fits in a backpack or a laptop bag. The battery-free PW100 pen has 8,192 pressure levels, and 6 press keys hold the shortcuts you use most.
Based on the manufacturer's Amazon listing.
Press lightly for a thin sketch line and harder for a bold one. The pen is battery-free, so it is always ready, and its side buttons switch between pen and eraser.
Huion lists a 5080 LPI resolution and a 233 PPS report rate, which it says deliver lag-free, precise strokes. In plain terms, the tablet reads the pen position finely and often.
Assign undo, zoom, brush switch or save to the keys. The Huion driver can save separate shortcut profiles for different apps.
It slides into a backpack and fits on a crowded desk or a lecture hall seat.
It also works as a writing pad for notes, a signature pad for PDFs and a pen replacement for the mouse, in apps such as OneNote, Microsoft Whiteboard and Zoom.
Flip the tablet and change the setting in the driver, and the keys sit on the other side.
Look elsewhere if: you want a bigger drawing area. The Huion Inspiroy H1060P has a 10 x 6.25 inch area and far more shortcut keys.
